The Alabama Council on Compulsive Gambling is non-discriminatory and offers help to anyone who wants or needs it by providing the following services and credentials:

• 24-hour, national hotline to direct individuals with a gambling problem to counselors, therapists, and support groups throughout the state of Alabama

• Connect individuals with a gambling problem who want counseling to counselors or therapists regardless of ability to pay.  

• Provide workshops and information about gambling disorder to counselors and others in various behavioral health fields​​

• Educate and create public awareness to the general public about responsible gambling and problem gambling​​

• Provide educational materials about responsible gambling and problem gambling 

• Service the entire state of Alabama 

• Official state affiliate of the National Council on Problem Gambling​​

• Accept tax deductible donations from those who want to help others. ​

The mission of the Alabama Council on Compulsive Gambling is to provide help to those in Alabama with gambling problems.  We train licensed counselors to become Alabama Certified Gambling Counselors and connect these counselors to the people who need help.  We are a gambling neutral organization, so we also inform those who choose to gamble to do so responsibly and inform the people of Alabama of the signs of problem gambling as well as sources of help available to them.
